The YOBC Symphony Orchestra is a 70-member orchestral ensemble under the baton of Robert Loughran. Sophomore and Junior musicians are eligible to participate in our annual concerto soloist competition. The Symphony Orchestra performs advanced original score orchestral repertoire. The Symphony Orchestra performs in an annual fall concert in November and a spring concert in April. They also play a Pops Concert in May. Other performance opportunities include field trips, extra concerts with either the entire ensemble or a chamber group, side-by-side concerts with professional orchestras, and our international tours.
